Description
The Guest Relations team at the fabulous 5* London Marriott Hotel and Executive Apartments is looking for Guest Relations Executive to assist the Guest Relations Manager with the Executive Lounge.
Responsibilities include giving a personalised service to hotel guests, especially VIP’s Marriott Reward Members and repeat guests. Guest satisfaction should be priority number one. All our guests should feel that they are dealt with as individuals. They should feel that we are concerned about their needs; we should deal with them by name… (Not room numbers).
Finally, you will be empowered to deal with guest requests and VIP lists in order to be prepared for the many guests who use the lounge on a day by day basis.
Requirements
As this is a Front Office position with Food and Beverage responsibilities as well, we are looking for candidates with 5* experience in both of these areas of hotel operations. You will have previous operational F&B experience and be familiar with hospitality systems, preferably Opera or Marsha.
Candidates must be highly organised and professional in the vibrant and demanding Executive Lounge, and be flexible enough to cope with shift work. You must be motivated enough to work alone, but also in a team.
Candidates must have an excellent level of written and spoken English and be excellent communicators with guests and fellow associates alike. You should possess the confidence and the professionalism to deal any guest query or challenge. Applicants should also have a high level of computer literacy (MS Office and Outlook).
