Description

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Contribute to the delivery of the Centre’s vision and business plan.
Ensure the centre operating objectives and standards of performance are followed.
Ensure that appropriate standards of conduct are complied with at all times.
Achieve the highest possible standard of customer service and commitment to continuous improvement in quality and business performance.
Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the reception.
Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner, in person or by phone, monitoring and controlling entry to the centre.
Ensure all customer sales and bookings are managed correctly, assisting customers in their choices.
Ensure membership administration is managed correctly.
Deliver the right choice of membership for the individual customers.
Adopt a positive approach to saving members looking to cancel and drive retention, adhering to Fusion sales driving and reporting procedures.
Undertake all cash handling and reconciliation procedures to ensure accuracy.
Undertake basic clerical and administrative duties, as required.
Assist in the development of programming through innovative ideas and initiating actions to meet the demands of the customers.
Assist in the communication and promotion of the Centre’s services, ensuring all information given is correct and up to date.
Ensure the safety and welfare of staff and users of the centre through the operation of all Health and Safety procedures and standards.
Ensure that the reception is secure and maintained to the required standards of cleanliness and repair.
Establish and maintain good relationships with the general public, ensuring that an appropriate ambience is maintained in the facility, making customers feel welcomed and valued.
Assist customers with regard to lost property, first aid, use of equipment and provide general information regarding the centre.
Deal with complaints in a sensitive manner, promptly and politely in accordance with Company guidelines.
Ensure you offer a professional image at all times and adhere with Fusion’s uniform standards.

Requirements

Experience/Skills and attributes:

Demonstrated experience of customer care preferably in a reception, cash handling fast paced environment
Excellent oral, numerical and written skills
Ability to work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, public holidays with flexibility of location
Responsible for maintaining all relevant qualifications and attending internal training sessions as part of normal working arrangements
Competent on Word and Excel
Experience of customer care within a reception environment
