Description
We are looking for a Chef who is passionate about delivering fantastic customer service to police officers during the 2012 Olympics.
The Position
We are currently looking for a Chef to join our team to prepare, assemble, cook all menu dishes, providing high quality dishes for the customer and client. Assist in general cleaning of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of hygiene. Adhere to menu plans and provide high quality service to customers and client in line with a food service offer that is applicable to the client.
This fantastic opportunity is based at a London location. As the site is open 24/7, you will need to be available to work shifts which will include evenings / earlies and weekends on a rota basis.
You will need to be fully available for the Olympics contract from 15th July to 17th September with peak periods between 25th July – 12th Aug & 29th Aug – 9th Sept. We also have immediate work available through our in house staffing bank.
Requirements
Essential:
Application subject to a MET Police Counter Terrorist Check
City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
Good people skills
Passion about food and customer service
A ‘can do’ attitude
High standards and quality driven
Desirable
Experience in a similar environment
Food Hygiene Certificate
Experience of working in an environment where there are peaks and troughs in demand during service times
Experience of working in a high security location
