Description
The fabulous 5* London Marriott Hotel and Executive Apartments is looking for an 'At Your Service' Shift Leader.
At Your Service is a “one-stop-shop” service concept which requires good knowledge of all hotel operations. At Your Service handles all phone calls both internal and external, provide comprehensive service and professionally deal with all guest quires and complaints.
In addition to telephone duties, At Your Service is also required to manage and maintain the Business Centre, take Room Service orders and keep the hotel’s internal communication journal up to date. The department also works with Loss Prevention and the Manager on Duty during emergency situations.
AYS Shift Leaders provide leadership and direction for the AYS team. They are responsible for training, motivating and managing the AYS staff. A great deal of responsibility for Guest Response rests on this individual due to the department’s pivotal role in assuring an excellent level of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
The London Marriott West India Quay At Your Service team is looking for a highly motivated, organised and flexible addition to their department! Preferred candidates should have previous experience in At Your Service or an equivalent department in a similar hotel and possess excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Applicants should be computer literate, have a professional yet friendly telephone manner and impeccable customer service skills. Candidates should have the confidence to make decisions, and a strong ability to concentrate and work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks at the same time. They should also have excellent leadership skills and be effective motivators.
