Activity Leaders

Description

We are currently recruiting fun, enthusiastic, friendly people to serve as Activity Leaders in our summer language centres.

The Activity Leader (AL) is responsible for the smooth and successful delivery of the activities programme. This role is pivotal to the promotion and delivery of the activity programme ensuring students are motivated and all activities are run to a high standard.  The AL will ensure that students attend the set activities and attendance records are kept.The AL will guide and organise students on excursions and carry out residential duties including meal supervision, lights out duties, room checks and assist with the general pastoral care of the students.

Requirements

• Competent sportsperson with excellent knowledge of rules and organisation of sports/games.
• Experience and interest in related subjects, eg, sports, drama, arts, crafts etc.
• Summer school residential experience is recommended.
• Previous experience working with children / teenagers.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a high pressure environment.
• An enthusiastic, team player.
• First Aid and Coaching qualifications are recommended. 
• Positions available for qualified lifeguards.
