Description

Our Client is an award winning business. And due to their continued and ver expanding growth and roll out programme they are actively looking to recruit all level dos General Managers, Assistant general Managers, Assistant Managers , Head chefs and Sous Chefs.
The inspiration for the food and design of theit restaurants comes from the modern interpretations of the many famous bistros that populate Paris. In recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in simple bistro cooking in Paris as locals turn away from expensive and over complicated cooking in formal restaurants to return to the basics of French cuisine.


Their menu offers classic dishes such as steak frites, salad niçoise, and free-range chicken from the Les Landes area of France alongside lighter dishes such as roast sea bass with olive oil mash with garlic and tomato dressing. Crème caramel and crème brûlée are house specialties for dessert.

As a General Manager, you will have to manage many irons in the “fire”. Concentrating on your team and the quality of service delivered as well as managing your business to deliver increasing year on year sales, and in turn bottom line profits. You will be a “control” expert, maximising every sale that you will deliver.
Your attention is split between, standards, P&L, team and man-management but ultimately your guests. You love them, the are your raison d’etre. You will be passionate about ensuring that you have exceeded every guest experience and look forward to them passing positive comments on to you as they leave. You will be saying goodbye, but willing them back to your store as soon as possible.
 
Preferably from a Very high volume, branded environment, you will be an expert on maximising the sales & in turn delivering the profits. You must be a very “hands-on” manager, and able to articulate your quick decision making skills. You must be as passionate about the product that you are serving, as you are about your guests. After all, their opinion really matters to you. You wear your heart on you sleeve and continually strive to better yourself and your career.
You will be conversant with current and future legislation, with regards to food safety (H.A.C.C.P), health & safety, employment law, & licensing. Ideally you must have a BII personal licence.
 
As a prospective employee you must be able to demonstrate that you are either an UK / EU resident, or hold a relevant and valid work permit or visa
 
 

Requirements

At least three years General Management experience.  Good strong consistent CV, at least two years service with each employer. The demand for this role is high, only successful candidates will be contacted
