Description
Objective and Principal Key Job Function:
To assist the Goodwood Food Recruitment Manager in the successful recruitment of personnel for all company events. To ensure that all staff are always suited to the positions offered to them and that they are of the highest calibre. There is a requirement to liaise consistently with all operational parties to achieve this. The Recruitment function also requires a commitment to staff welfare as well as adhering to employment law and company policies and procedures at all times. To assist with all administration required achieving the most effective performance of this department and others as required.
Responsible for:
Administration of all staff recruitment for operational events and other activities. Assistance with staff training; Assistance with the administration procedures for all recruitment and event activities.
Non- Operational Day Responsibilities:
To liaise closely with the Goodwood Food Recruitment Manager and with Operational Management before an event to agree a staffing standard.
To be proactive in making new, and building on existing, contacts.
· To explore new and diverse ways of recruiting and retaining a database of staff; commanding loyalty as much as possible in order to grow a large and loyal team.
· To assist as required with casual worker training, briefing and inductions to events and the Goodwood culture in order that they provide the highest standard of service.
· To ensure that all staff are always well presented with reference to personal deportment, dress and etiquette.
Operational Day Responsibilities:
To work with the Goodwood Food Recruitment Manager to define the staffing standards for all operational events.
To effectively check in and allocate all casual staff.
To work proactively during the season to provide an efficient and proactive support service to the Goodwood Food Managers and their team Managers, Chefs and the team of variable labour.
General Responsibilities:
To provide office support as and when required; primarily at the Goodwood Food main office but also at other Compass venues.
To assist with ad hoc project work within the Goodwood Food Recruitment team.
Where applicable to attend training courses for personal development.
To organise own time off in conjunction with the Goodwood Food Recruitment Manager and to ensure those holidays are taken subject to the needs of the business and not carried forward.
To act as an ambassador of the company at all times.
To uphold company standards at all times.
