We have a position in an exclusive 5* environment.

We are looking for a catering assistance within a 'Can-do' attitude, who is successful through the team and has a passion for food and service quality.

The main objective of this position is to help and support the team and delivering high standards of food quality and service.. 

Do you have at least 6 months experience within a similar role the hospitality industry?

Duties & Tasks: 

* To be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, clients and colleagues
* To ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times
* To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
* To maximise all sales opportunities through selling techniques
* To accept payment and give change to customers, including operating a till
* To acquire a good knowledge of all products in order to be able to advise individual customers on their product choice
* To actively gain customer feedback, passing information gained onto your line manager

THIS IS A POSITION THAT WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO WORK AT LEAST 40 HOURS A WEEK.

Shifts: 2.00pm – 10.00pm  (5 out of 7 days)

Requirements

* Experience in similar environment
* Good people skills and able to work as part of a team
* Passion about food and customer service
* Good communication skills
* High standards and be quality driven A 'Can do' attitude
* Experience of working in an environment where there are peaks and troughs in demand during service times
* Experience of working in environments involving high levels of customer care
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant area
