Science Tutor

Description

Spend the winter in the Italian Alps tutoring Britain's budding skiing professionals!

We are currently looking for a science tutor to deliver the academic program at our Winter Academy during the 10/11 season.

You will work Monday - Friday tutoring from 3pm until 6pm each day, leaving plenty of time to hit the slopes and unwind.

From time to time there may also be tutoring required at different hours and sometimes on a 1:1 basis should the races/training schedule dictate or if a student is a little behind.

Our tutors will also double up as drivers on transfer days (Saturdays) so a clean driving license and confidence of driving abroad are imperative when applying for this role.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Science (preferably degree level but not exclusively).
• CRB checked/child protection knowledge.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word.
• Good communication skills.
• First aid certificate.
• Clean driver's license.
• PGCE or similar qualification is preferable but tutoring experience taken into consideration.
