Work in our luxurious ski in ski out chalet set on the piste in the beautiful ski resort of Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley. This position is ideal for two friends, or a couple!
We are looking for couples or friends to run our exclusive 10 bed chalet.
We pride ourselves on our high standard of client service to ensure each holiday is a unique and enjoyable experience. We therefore require a couple who can work to a high standard, be professional in their presentation and be comfortable and relaxed whilst liaising with guests.
The role of the chef is to ensure that all meals are prepared to a superior standard of cuisine. The chef is expected to cook and serve continental breakfast, four course evening meal and afternoon tea and cakes. A flair for presentation is required in all aspects of this work.
The main role of chalet host is to liaise with clients on a day to day basis to ensure excellent levels of client satisfaction. You will assist the chef in preparing and serving all meals and provide a daily housekeeping service.
Working as a team we expect that you will ensure that all duties are fulfilled and that the chalet is run to an extremely high standard. On changeover day one member of staff will be expected to transfer clients to and from the airport whilst the other handles the chalet changeover. Other duties include: driving clients to and from their preferred lift station and other driving requirements within our service schedule, shopping and maintaining detailed records of expenditure to budget, clearing snow, daily hot tub routines and other chalet duties as and when required. |

You should have an outgoing and friendly personality with experience in hospitality. The chef should have acquired Chef de Partie as minimum and experience working in a four star or cordon bleu restaurant and be passionate about food. You will be honest and hard working, willing to be flexible and organised in your approach to work whilst working on your own initiative.
All applicants must be at least 21 years old (for insurance reasons) hold a UK/EU passport or full EU Visa/UK National Insurance, a valid European Health Card and clean driving licence.
