Description

Our Resort Manager is responsible for resort operations and all of the staff in resort, playing an important role motivating and encouraging staff to maintain or exceed the high-standards of service Alp Leisure Ltd have set and our clients have become accustomed to.

They oversee all of the staff accommodation and ensure the staff are
happy and confident in their roles.
 
We hope our guests rarely have reason to contact the Resort Manager, but if there is an issue which needs further support and advice, he or she will be at our guests' disposal.

The role includes liaising with staff, guests, chalet/villa owners and suppliers, ensuring the day to day operations are running smoothly, organizing the repair of maintenance issues, quality control within the chalets, maintaining transport service of expected standards and verifying the stock and accounts within the chalets are correct and in order.

Our resort manager is also responsible for the recruitment of our winter and summer team as well as running the training program for the new staff, keeping accurate staff records and of course staff management once they have arrived in resort.

You will be working alongside our established office team comprising of; the customer services manager who liaises with guests prior to their arrival, our accounts manager who oversees the chalet accounts, the office manager who deals with supplier payments and ordering and our Transport Manager who deals with all First Class reservations and
logistics.
 
The company directors are also always on hand for help and advice and will offer you full training upon starting with the company.

This role is available from September and is full time with the possibility of being year round.

The competetive package is negotiable to suit the successful candidate.

Requirements

Fluent French and English (spoken and written) are essential.

This position will suit an applicant with an organized and practical nature along with excellent computer literacy.
 
We are looking for candidates with some management & HR experience and a “can-do” attitude, preferably with a working knowledge of the French Alps and Cote d’Azur.
