We use outdoor adventurous activities, as part of our personal development programme, to engage London’s socially excluded young people and we want you to join our team. Activities include: hill walking, climbing and water sports and we want you to extend it further. As one of the most experienced members of the team, you will supervise and develop junior staff, and take responsibility for the equipment and course programming.

In return, we offer a fun and supportive work environment as well as development opportunities including an entitlement to 5 training days each year. Working only Monday- Friday, you will also receive 28 days' holiday (plus bank holidays) rising to 32 days with length of service and employer pension contributions.

You will need a passion for the outdoors and proven relevant work experience, you will ideally have at least three qualifications in the following areas and a desire to gain more:
* RYA Sailing
* Gorge walking – swift water rescue
* Orienteering
* Archery
* Indoor or outdoor Climbing
* Walking group leader
* Mountain Biking
* Skiing/Snowboarding
* Power boating
* ML Summer / Winter
* Level 2 Canoe or Kayak Coach
* Local Cave Leader
* Mountain/BASP First Aid Cert
You will also have a full clean driving licence, ideally with D1 + E enabling you to drive minibuses with a trailer. Your ability to inspire and relate to our challenging client group, along with your awareness of issues affecting young people, is key. |
