Description
Work part-time inĀ one of Derby's premier catering teams at major events at Pride Park!
As a Sous Chef you will work efficiently within a team to provide quality food that is prepared in line with Company food specification and direction from the Head Chef.
You will be allocated to an area within either stadium where you would lead a team in order to ensure all guests receive food beyond their expectations. You may even be called upon to make recommendations.
You will ensure the area at work is kept clean and tidy; ensuring food is provided and prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.
You will demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to manage a team and take responsibility for Health and Safety and Fire legislation in absence of the Lead Chef.
Requirements
You will have
* NVQ levels 1 and 2
* Proven experience as a chef
* Basic food hygiene and creativity
* An aptitude in the kitchen
* A sound knowledge of food and taste.
