APPLICATIONS FOR COUNSELORS ARE NOW OPEN! If you are over 18 by June 1st 2009, and love working with kids, then you can experience the BEST summer of your life with CCUSA! Camp Counselors USA can place you at an American Summer Camp for the work and travel experience of a lifetime! We work with the top 1000 children's camps across America, from New York to California.
We pride ourselves on giving you the 'Perfect Placement', as you choose exactly what style of camp you would like to work at - we work with 8 different types. You also choose exactly what age group to work with, and what type of job you want to do - either Specialist or General. Then our fantastic team in the USA will match you up with the perfect camp. You must be available for 9 weeks, anytime between mid May to late June.
As a leader, role model, friend, instructor, guide, big brother or sister, cheerleader and hero to campers ages 8 - 16, your primary responsibility is overall supervision, to ensure their well-being/safety and make their camp experience fun and rewarding.
Most Camp Counselors live in a cabin or platform tent with a co-counselor and 8 - 12 campers. As their Camp Counselor, you will be with your campers 24 hours a day, making sure they eat meals, attend day and evening activities (which you plan or assist in), clean their cabin and even get them to sleep at night.

If you are interested in working with children, doing anything from sports to arts to drama, then this is definitely for YOU! Please don't worry if you do not have any experience or qualifications (even better if you do), because as long as you are outgoing, patient, have loads of energy, enjoy working with special needs children, and think you can make a child's summer the best ever, then you are a PERFECT candidate. |
