Family Ski Company specialises in providing catered chalet holidays with a flexible programme of childcare and the Resort Manager is ultimately responsible for the smooth running of every aspect of the resort.
The position involves a great deal of organisation and planning whilst at the same time daily contact with the guests and resort team, so strong people management skills are also essential. Responding calmly to changing circumstances and maintaining staff and guest morale is an essential part of the job.
Resort Managers must ensure their resort team have the necessary resources, skills and support to carry out their jobs in a happy and supportive environment.
The Family Ski Company provide their resort teams with an excellent employment package. This includes your food and accommodation, full season lift pass, ski or snowboard hire, uniform (including ski jacket), return transport from the UK to resort, medical and personal liability insurance. You will also receive a weekly wage paid into a UK bank account.
Requirements
Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred and you must possess strong managerial skills. A driving licence is essential.
Resort Managers are expected to be approachable, responsible and diplomatic, and have a good working knowledge of either French or German.
All applicants must have a full UK National Insurance Number, UK bank account and hold an EU Passport, and due to the nature of our business all employees must be ISA registered and hold a recent CRB enhanced disclosure, we can assist with this process.
