Description
Cafe Assistant required for the Base Cafe at the National Army Museum in Chelsea.
Creativevents Ltd, the Food and Drink Company, run the day visitor cafe at the National Army Museum. The cafe is open day times, 7 days per week and we are looking for someone to work closely with the Catering Manager to learn and develop in our Business. You will be expected to work along side the Manager as well as running the Cafe in the Manager's absence.
Duties will include serving customers with food and beverages, cleaning and washing up, maintaining and monitoring Food Safety and Health and Safety within the Cafe.
This is a full time, permanent position, with 5 days working out of 7. Shifts are generally 8am - 6pm.
Requirements
Ideally, you will have some experience in a similar environment, dealing with food and beverage. You will be ambitious and want to work your way up through the Culture and Heritage Division of Creativevents.
You will be of smart appearance, a good communicator, have superb customer service skills and a natural aptitude for managing and leading teams. You will be contientious and responsible in nature and will enjoy working in a team.
