An opportunity for a chalet host couple to work for a small, friendly, customer focussed team in the Portes du Soleil in France.
We are looking for outgoing, hardworking people with a mature outlook and a pride in their work. One person must be either a trained chef or have good practical experience preparing quality food, perhaps just from a love of hosting dinner parties. The other person must have a clean driving licence and be comfortable driving a minibus.
The successful couple will work together as a team with responsibility for running a super newly renovated luxury 5 bedroom chalet.
Duties on six days a week will include:
* Preparing a 4 course evening meal to a high standard from fresh ingredients, including meeting any special dietary requirements
* If necessary an early children’s tea
* A simple cooked breakfast, and an après ski snack, usually a cake
* Keeping the chalet clean, tidy and in good condition including making beds and sprucing bathrooms
* Driving guests to and from the ski lifts by minibus
* Ensuring our guests are well looked after and feeling at home.
Other duties include shopping for the chalet, laundry processing, minibus airport transfers and generally forming part of our small team that is willing to help each other out when the going gets tough. |

Training and assistance will be given but we expect the couple to give us the confidence to let them work relatively autonomously and show their flair.
We expect hard work and commitment but also understand there is more to life and to help you make the most of your time in the resort you will have a full area lift pass, ski or snowboard provision, ski insurance, food, good accommodation and a competitive salary.
To apply you need to be over 22, well educated and be either an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for France. |
